Four alternatives, each with a cost

A close variation is the simplest alternative
Add a period or an underscore, or put a short word after the name. Check it against the character rules in how usernames work.
Keep the exact name in the display name
The display name accepts the full name with spaces. Searchers see it even when the handle differs.
Re-checking costs nothing
Set a reminder and look again. If the profile has gone, the handle may be free. See what happens after deletion.
A claim stays open if the facts change
If a mark is registered later or a profile begins impersonating you, a route may fit then. Start with the claim page.
