Who we are
Atclaim is an independent username claim service for Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat. This page explains what information the site and our chats involve. Questions can go to team@unbanz.com.
What you send us
When you message us on WhatsApp or email, we receive whatever you choose to send: usually a handle, a profile link, and sometimes a trademark registration number or business name. We use it to assess and run your claim and to answer you. We never need your password or a login code, and you should not send either.
What the website records
The site uses a small first-party analytics script. For each visit it records the pages viewed, how you arrived (a referring site, a search term or a campaign tag), your device type, browser and operating system, your time zone, whether you pressed a contact button, and roughly how far you scrolled. The server also sees your IP address and uses it to work out an approximate country and city, and to notice when a visit looks like it comes through a VPN. That IP address is stored with the visit.
An anonymous random identifier is kept in your browser’s local storage so repeat visits can be grouped. It is not tied to your name. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers and no social media pixels.
How the information is used
Analytics are used to see which pages help people and which do not, and to spot abuse. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
Sharing and retention
Information from a claim is shared with the platform only to the extent the claim itself requires, for example the handle and the facts you have asked us to submit. Hosting and database providers process site data for us. We keep claim messages for as long as needed to run the claim and answer follow-up questions, and analytics for as long as they remain useful.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete the messages you sent or to remove the analytics visits linked to you by writing to team@unbanz.com. You can also clear local storage in your browser at any time to reset the anonymous identifier.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
