What a ban involves
TikTok removes or restricts the account for breaking its rules. The owner may be able to appeal.
What it means for a claim
- Do not assume the name is free.
- A username can only be changed by the owner, once every 30 days.
- The inactive account policy is separate from a ban.
What to do
